Week One (July 22-26): Performance Concepts and Presentations [One full day at MAT].

Week Two (July 29 - Aug 2): Troupe Preparation [One full day at MAT].

Week Three - Five (Aug 5 - Aug 23): Rehearsals School [at MAT on availability].

What it's all about
The Moresby Arts Theatre is dedicated to the development of the artistic community in Port Moresby. MAT are excited to be continuing its Youth Arts Programme (YAP), an exciting educational arts activity designed specifically for the youth of Port Moresby.
MAT is committed to the active involvement of youth in educational and awareness programmes that affect communities. MAT believes in using the arts (dance, drama, visual arts, music etc.) as tools for education and awareness.
This creative arts programme is designed for year-nine students as a stimulating initiative to learn, create while interacting with students from other schools. It is now an annual event at MAT for participating schools. Schools are now taking up the opportunity to make the activity part of their own creative arts curricula which is a positive development for the programme more broadly.
